First Lady Angie Gray

Director of Women's Ministries

First Lady Gray, as her church family affectionately calls her, is the wife of the Rev. Dr. John E. Gray, the Senior Pastor of Goodwill Tabernacle Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA.  She is the mother of four daughters, ranging in age from 18 years old to 3 years old.

First Lady Gray, under the tutelage of Pastor Gray, serves as Goodwill’s Director of Women’s Ministries.  Goodwill’s Women’s Ministry, Women in God’s Service for Living in Faith & Edification (WINGS for LIFE), is comprised of the women of the church whose sole purpose is to support the mission and purpose of Goodwill in serving as a beacon of light and ray of hope to all we encounter while uplifting and encouraging our fellow sisters and brothers in the faith to know the Savior in a personal way.

Recognizing that God has called her to use her spiritual gifts in this manner, First Lady Gray is the facilitator of Goodwill’s PEARLS for LIFE  (Prepare, Empower, Assist, Renew, Love, & Strengthen for Living In Faith & Edification) Women’s Bible Study Group.  First Lady Gray is very passionate about this series of study because she believes it to be a springboard for women to begin to become the vessels that God would have them to be.

Angie is currently serving as a School Counselor in Atlantic City, NJ.  She has been in the field of education and social services for well over twenty-years.   Angie is an alumna of Glassboro State College, Rowan University, and Grand Canyon University.

Philippians 4:13 and Galatians 5:5 are two verses First Lady Gray find fortitude building for her work for the Kingdom.
